Financial Planner Chuck Newton, from Salt Lake City, will present a 2-hour program exploring the use and applicability of annuity products. Chuck will focus on a discussion of annuities as long-term income producing vehicles and will provide some very interesting technical details about the age-old discussion, "Annuities versus Bond Portfolios For Stable Income." Chuck will also unravel the "Truth and Consequences" of Equity Indexed Annuities and explain how marketers twist the truth when presenting these products to the public.

About the Speaker: Prior to joining Nuveen Investments in 2003, Mr. Anders spent 17 years with MFS Investment Management, most recently, as Director of the MFS Institute, providing value added tools and training to advisors across the country. At MFS, he also served as National Account Manager, managing relationships between MFS; national and regional brokerage firms and independent planning firms. Anders is a graduate of the University of Illinois and is a Certified Financial Planner TM certificant. He has also earned the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY AUDITORTM (AIFA TM) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh, and certifies him to conduct investment fiduciary audits and/or reviews. Anders has also completed the Wealth Management Certificate program of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
